WELCOME TO BELLAIRE BELLES
2009-2010
The Bellaire Booster Club would
like to welcome your
daughter/son to the Belles
2009-2010 team. Belles is a
great organization to be
involved in during high school,
providing a source of fitness,
fun and friendships!
The Belles start the school year
off with dance camp in August
and their first performance at
the Belle Open House. During
football season, the Belles
cheer on the Cardinals with
pre-game and half-time
performances. The spring
semester brings the HISD and
Regional Competitions.
Then it's time for the Belle
Ball, a favorite of all Belles -
a formal evening of dinner,
dancing and awards. In
May, the Belles wrap with the
year with their fabulous Spring
Show.
Being a Belle requires many
things: teamwork, dedication,
participation, discipline and
hard work. It also
requires a financial commitment
(this is above and beyond the
cost of uniforms). During
the fall, each Belle is
required to fully
participate in all TEAM
fundraising activities.
This money is used towards
choreographers, props, new
costumes, competition fees and
Belle Ball.
Now being a Belle parent also
requires many things. Mostly
that you support your
daughter/son in this endeavor!
First and foremost, get involved
in the Belles Booster Club. It
provides the organized and
financial support for the
team throughout the year and in
order to accomplish everything,
volunteer support is necessary. Each family will be required to
help in at least one area per
year. To indicate what works
best for your family, please
complete and return the the
Belle Parent Volunteer
Form. Next,
show your support of your Belle
when they perform. Attend when they
perform at the football games,
participate in competitions and
dance in the Spring Show.
Lastly, recognize that there is
a required financial commitment
to the Belles and help your
daughter/son FULFILL it!
Again, welcome to the Bellaire
Belles!

The Bellaire Belles Dance
Team depends on many
different levels of family
involvement to ensure we
remain a 1st class
award-winning dance team.
There are opportunities for
everyone, no matter what
your talents, interest or
availability. Please look
over the many volunteer
opportunities and let us
know areas you are willing
to help. Your involvement is
vital to provide the many
enriching opportunities
available for the team
therefore, each
Belle family is required to
volunteer in at least one
area!!
